When I listened to LOVE PSYCHEDELICOfs seventh single, I at first thought the sounds I was hearing were very familiar. These are very LOVE PSYCHEDELICOtic new songs. The DELICO words and traits we have been familiar can be found within each song and because of our familiarity with the sound, we can feel more than we did the first time around. We are neither shocked nor surprised, but rather are comforted by the familiar and there is a lot to be said for that.
LOVE PSYCHEDELICO put so much effort into each song that they seemingly empty themselves completely. They would not think about commercially promoting themselves, and this attitude has helped to create and symbolizetheir works. They showed us gain how wonderful music is and demonstrated their respect towards music on gTHE GREATEST HITSh since music was the only way for them to survive. On gLOVE PSYCHEDELIC ORCHESTRAh, they wondered aloud and questioned the reality of perhaps not living within the best generation. . These two albums are of twocompletely different styles, and after releasing these albums, with Naoki Sato having returned and Kumi recharged during her Himalayan life, they again started singing their blues fixing their gaze upon the future.
A rough, folky style dominates this single on the whole, but gI am waiting for youh still has all the usual ingredients and a exquisite lyric that makes me think of an image of a woman I might want to be saved by. The jam session style of the other tracks is very fresh, particularly the blues taste of ganother night.h . Also, Kumifs unconventional vocal style on gHappinessh exposes peoplefs eternal desire for happiness.
As a whole, I believe the words and style have become more familiar, but it also has made their blues deeper. These are more gtalkativeh songs.. When the the Stones keeps writing songs in the same style, people welcome the as Stones songs, and maybe someday there might be a LOVE PSYCHEDELICO style as well. gI actually would be really happy it that happenedh, Naoki mentioned. I would also add that the more, the DELICO style is developed, the greater the presence of f Kumi and Naoki will be and for that we will have the god of music to thank
